before you start:
make sure you have watched, understood, and are able to apply eyeshadow for the basic eye shape. this is important because the basic eye application is the foundation from which all the other eye shapes are based.

in this video you will learn all about how to apply eye makeup for the hooded eye. hooded eyes are often called "bedroom eyes" because the lids tend to look partly closed. you know you have a hooded eye if you have fleshy skin covering a portion of the lower lid. the goal with the hooded eye is to create the illusion that we are pushing that "fleshiness" away from us in order to minimize the lid and make the hooded eye look more open and youthful.
